Vivien B Deitz (MSW, BCD), a licensed clinical social worker, has been known throughout her career for her unique ability to promote self-understanding and growth – helping people improve the quality of their lives through individual psychotherapy, group therapy and self-help training.  At present, she manages her private practice in Clinical Social Work in North Bethesda, Maryland and offers varied psycho-educational workshops.

After receiving her RN degree from Temple University Hospital, School of Nursing, Vivien went on to receive her BS from the University of Maryland at College Park, and her MSW from The Catholic University of America.  Her post-graduate work has sent her to be trained by nationally and internationally renowned therapists, Shamans and other holistic practitioners.

Vivien is dedicated to helping people understand and heal their relationships – motivating people to grow, move forward, and gain control of their lives.  She has successively helped people who suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety and chronic medical problems.  Vivien teaches people to be curious about the “Geography of the Soul”, an internal landscape of one’s life.  She encourages them to utilize Traditional Psychotherapy, Reincarnation and Past-Life Regression Therapy, Native American and Hawaiian Shamanic Techniques and Re-birthing strategies.  Her supportive, open and effective techniques and masterful therapeutic skills have proven invaluable to many people.
